We are preparing to be a host congregation for Family Promise of the East San Fernando Valley. Here are a few ways for you to be involved:

Fundraiser at Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank – Tuesday, May 14th from 11:00am to 10:00pm

Church Clean-up Day – Saturday, May 18th from 9am to 5pm

Family Promise Training – Tuesday, June 4th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Celebrate Easter with us at Glendale Church of Christ!

Below is a schedule of events for the day:

Coffee and Refreshments will be served at 9:30am.

Worship will begin at 10:30am.

A staffed nursery will be available for the little ones during worship.

Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt will follow worship at 12pm.

Financial Peace University

Millions of people have gone through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. They’ve worked a plan, rewritten their stories and changed their futures. This class meets for nine weeks, one night a week. It incorporates small-group discussions that help encourage accountability and discipleship. On average, graduates pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in only the first 90 days!

Classes begin Wednesday, March 20th at 7:30pm at the church building.

Marriage and family therapist Zach Love will examine cultivating healthy relationships that keep Godly values at the center. How do we do this in an environment that is moving in other directions?

A More Spiritual Me

We all want to be more spiritual right? How do we get there? What steps do we need to take?

Spiritual Table – Why what we eat is a spiritual act.

Do you ever think about what you eat? Where it comes from? How it got to you? What if there is something spiritual about how we satisfy our appetite?

We know how the church is described by the story of scripture as it unfolds. Church is the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, the people of God. But how is the church described in our culture by the people it has not yet reached? The way they are describing the church today can teach us what we may need to return to or turn from, reclaim or repent of. The church could become a more dynamic influence if we examine and respond to what they say church is.
